Hey guys! So I have the following problem. I'll start with that I've played cod1.1 on my old asus laptop (which had a i7-3rd gen and a weak graphic card something like NVIDIA 610m) and I used to reach stable 333 fps on most of the maps and even reach 500 on harbor sometimes. Not long ago I've bought an asus rog with a i7 last gen and a NVIDIA 1050Ti which runs demanding games such as Overwatch, CS:GO easily around 200 fps (talking about ultra settings). So I downloaded cod1.1 on this laptop and sometimes it smoothly locks 333fps but most of the time when I start the game it doesn't accelerate and run with consistent 333fps and drops even to 250fps in some scenarios. I tried variety of resolutions - my laptops one (1920x1080) I've tried 1024x768, 1366x768 etc etc... None of them blast stable 333fps, in rare cases when I start the game it has stable 333fps, most of the time it waddles around 333 to 250. And yeah, I've tried almost every single thing to fix this, messed around with custom settings, custom resolutions, custom points where it affects the GPU at diff acceleration and alot more. Nothing fixed the problem. I am really desperate at this point and I hope that there is someone on this forum who can help me out. Also, there was a strange anomaly where I had the custom resolution at 1920x1079 r_mode - 1 (one pixel off of my standart laptop one) and I had the weird screen tearing, the game didn't run smoothly at all, but in-game fps value held perfectly stable 333-500-1000 fps. (Spekt can confirm this xd) I guess this came to be a long post but I hope that someone helps out! Thanks in advance (:

Hey, I believe that downgrading the version of my OS wouldn't affect the performance in any way. Also it would affect my laptop in alot of aspects. I won't rely on this as a fix. Thanks tho!

I'm not sure if this action won't affect my laptops performance in general, it's not like I'm using this laptop for cod1 only, I code and I run demanding IDE's such as WebStorm, VSCode, also run other games.

Just do what the man says and you can progressively update the card to see if it makes your fps go lower!!!!1111
