Walking fast with scope
There was a discussion about 500 fps. But there is a thing that I wonder about - walking fast with scope (it had a name? ). I think it is overall not allowed, but I think it should be. If fast-climbing at ladder is allowed and it's a bug too, why shouldn't fast walking with scope be? It's more of a theoretical question as 95% of this forum don't play CoD anymore
Consider is as you want, but don't compare these cheats with bugs of a game like fast-climbing ladder and walking fast with scope. There is a point that there are other bugs like ff/fr and what's with them? If previous two mentioned - yes, why not them. Although I don't think it's good to use ff/fr and happy that there are blocks for it at servers. But not for walking fast with scope

Using bugs in cod1 that give you advantage over others has always been illegal. It is available to everyone but not everybody knows about them, that includes fastwalking(whilst aiming down sights), fast reload, fast shooting, really ramp glitching, silent walking, etc. And fast crouch walking next to the wall should be on this list as well if you ask me.
I say all the bugs should be illegal. Including fast climbing. I wish Activision would do a big update just for the bugs for cod1.
@Piecka Since I am a Quake 3 player, I could say that yes, it is a bug in Quake engine and yes it was illegal for few years. But later on, because strafing became a main type of a movement, it got allowed and it's used by many professional players in tournaments.
Walking fast while zoomed, in my opinion, is a mix of a bad thing or a thing that you shouldn't really care for. You just move at normal speed (290 ups) while scoping. It's commonly used in public servers but it's not used in FW's from what I've seen. Pretty much, on public servers, players have their own playstyle, whether is dropshotting, camping or strafing or mix of all of that. I think that it should remain on public servers how it usually is, but on FW's and such, it should be banned. In the end, CoD 1.1's engine is just somekind of a copypasta of Quake engine, with few of the tweaks.
